ABOUT AMY
LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER · NEW YORK
For more than 10 years, I've helped people navigate the challenges that come with relationships, identity, change, and the many transitions of adult life.
My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, combining psychodynamic and trauma-informed perspectives with solution-focused strategies. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and find practical ways to move forward.
As a biracial African-American and white woman, I also bring personal understanding to conversations about racial identity, belonging, family dynamics, and navigating multiple cultural experiences. I welcome exploration of identity, race, culture, and the ways these experiences may intersect with your emotional life and relationships.
My goal is to create a space where you can feel understood, challenged when needed, and genuinely supported.
MY APPROACH
We'll look beneath the surface to understand patterns, relationships, and experiences that may still be shaping your life.
Your history matters. Therapy moves at a pace that respects your experiences, strengths, and sense of safety.
Insight becomes more useful when it supports change. We'll also focus on practical steps that help you move forward.
